Hello iNDIES! I am here in Paris! Thanks to all those who wished me safe travels. Last night I was taken to see Sister Act the musical at Mogador Theatre (Thanks Mazan!) The play was in french, but I had seen the movie enough times to follow along and I loved it!

The cast was amazing and lead actress Kania Allard was hysterical as Sister Mary Clarence or Deloris van Cartier (like the jewerly, as she would put it)

I had such a great time, especially during the shows finale. If you’re in Paris and havent yet, I recommend taking in Sister Act,The Musical Spectacular!

Happy Sunday indies! I leave for France and the UK tommorow and i’m super excited! So, when I stumbled upon the dynamic C.E.O. Dancers viral rehearsal video on FB this morning, I felt so inspired by these London belles I had to hop up and feature them. 

C.E.O. Dancers is a London based dance troupe comprised of 3 fierce, fabulous, chicas from Nigeria, Africa. The group recently made it to Britain’s Got Talent Semi-Finals where there wowed the judges with their powerful presence.

So I just ordered these awesome SONY headphones from amazon.com so I could bump Wale’s Bad Rmx feat Rihanna («< available on itunes) all around Paris, lol.

I also stumbled upon this gorgeous Herschel Supply Co backpack in teal, which would be a perfect accessory for trekking through the streets of Paris!

While walking to work a few days ago I stumbled upon McGuire furniture on 32nd street and Lexington avenue. I stopped and window shopped a bit then went on my merry way. Thought i’d post some of my “Dream” pieces for my future home…Aspire to greatness right?

This living room look I put together is Modern/ Zen (Asian inspired.) The Ivory hand carved lamp echoes the mountains that canvas Buddhist temples in China. The chocolate brown chair with ivory cushion lends an air of Yin and Yang signifying constant balance; and the dark brown wicker table with glass top gives me a natural feel with a modern twist. Ahh, enough dreaming, I just love these pieces from McQuire Furniture!
